Set along the beach and nesting near the rain forest, we have set out to discover luxury forms of hospitality. In the small village of Tortugero, El Deseo is a cornerstone of our vision that can be an example of hospitality around the world.
Our Story
In 2020 our family let the kids chose here to go on vacation. They came across the small village of Tortuguero that many don’t know about. Seeing the beautiful pictures of the wildlife we decided to give it a chance. Getting there, wasn’t just the beautiful nature we fell in love with, it was also getting to know the amazing people around the village. Since then, we have returned many time until one of our family members decided to stay for good.
Our Vision
El Deseo Hotel was set out to bring a more luxurious but natural hotel to Tortuguero. We decided to only build 6 rooms so that we can give our full attention to every guest. Many different types of people throughout the world love earths nature but not all are happy to stay in nature. We El Deseo give the comfort to all types.
